-The ideal candidate should have a strong background in art, preferably with a Bachelor’s of Art.
-Position requires experience with traditional drawing mediums, but experience with other mediums is a plus.
-Candidate must enjoy working with children.

-The position assists with teacher training, and curriculum development in order to expand our offerings.

-We are willing to train someone in art if they have previous experience working with children.

-The ideal candidate should be familiar with Adobe Photoshop and/or Procreate.
-The ideal candidate can have a degree in Design, or Illustration, or Animation, or Game Art, or equivalent experience in digital art.
-Part-time hours (Wednesday 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, and Saturday 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm)
-The ideal candidate should be familiar with the basic principles of animation.
-The candidate can demonstrate simple animations like a ball bounce, walk cycle, and a take.
-Preferably the candidate can use Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, Procreate Dreams, Adobe Animate, or Adobe After Effects. However, other softwares and mediums are welcome too.
-The ideal candidate should have a degree in Art History or Art Education.
-This position is part of our IBHE certified Teacher Training Program. The program is meant to prepare students for all aspects of teaching art. The program offers different focuses for those who are interested in teaching k-12, elementary school, middle school, or high school portfolio development. The art education course plays a foundational role in the program.
-The ideal candidate will understand the importance that art history plays in art education, and can convey that to the students.
-The position will develop and teach a course that meets once a week for three hours, and help students with their master copies. The classes will be comprised of 2 hour lectures and one hour of studio time.
