Glenview School of Arts is an art school that offers an Illinois Board of Higher Education certified Teacher Training Program as well as fine art classes for children from ages 4-13, high school students, and adults. Classes provide a fun and positive atmosphere for children to learn the basic principles of art and to build a strong foundation in art. Not only do we offer art classes for high schoolers but we also have a portfolio development program for students who are interested in pursuing art at higher levels. For anyone over 18 with a high school diploma we offer a Teacher Training Program for those who are interested in making a career in teaching art.
DongJoo Suh opened the doors to The Glenview School of Arts in 2001. After nearly two decades the school continues to expand our course selection. Our curriculum currently includes drawing and painting, ceramics, sculpture, digital art, and animation. Our art programs are specialized for certain age groups: 4-5, 6-8, 9-13, high school students, and adults.
The registration form and payment must be completed before each session begins, however, late enrollment can be arranged if necessary.
Tuition is charged by each session and may be paid by check, credit card, or cash. Payment is due prior to the beginning of the first lesson.
Students are responsible to bring their art supplies for every lesson.
Should a student not bring supplies after two reminders, a $5 rental charge will be applied for use of school’s art supplies
